Hi,
-This page explained the principle of Methods and sub-methods
https://wooddesigner.org/help-…..g-methods/
and to this page in video
https://wooddesigner.org/help-…..braries-2/
There is lot of possibility and really difficult to describe in video
For more information on this subject, it is generally more interesting to discuss it via our training packs.
-For panels division, best tool is to use “Surface Split”

Thanks. Your reply was very useful. I now realise I was organising my Project poorly. I’ve updated it and attached.
Can you explain to me, please, how to choose the right fixings? Is this set in the Manufacturing Method in PolyBoard? I think PolyBoard does much more than I really need. I’m using a CNC machine that does not cut into the sides of materials, only into the flat surface. I want shelves to be fixed, not floating or adjustable. Does my project use the right fixings? Really, I want the simplest option for kitchen cabinets. Cheap, easy to order, easy to CNC, and easy to assemble! They won’t be visible, so I don’t mind if shelf supports are not concealed, if that’s simpler.

Hi,
There are no predefined household appliance components, so you will need to consult the manufacturers’ data sheets to find out how to position your fixed shelving units.
datasheets are very useful these days, a few years ago it was preferable to have the appliance in hand to take over the dimensions.
Personally, for a standard kitchen, my objective was to place the bottom of the appliances 870 mm from the floor if the worktop was 910 mm from the floor.
If there were only columns, then the base would be 1070 mm from the floor.
Find video for others points

Hi
I’d appreciate some advice on a couple of basic techniques, please. I’m uploading my initial cabinet files, that still need some work, and sketches of what I’m trying to achieve.
Shelving –
I want the shelves to have a ‘T’ shape, like in Tcabinet attached. How do I remove the bottom left and bottom right sections from my cabinet file, please?
Integrated appliance cabinets –
I want to make floor-to-ceiling cabinets for integrated kitchen appliances (fridge/freezer, built-in oven and microwave, at eye level). I haven’t yet bought, or even chosen, the appliances. I understand how to make the cabinet fit a sloping ceiling, but I don’t know how to design the cabinets so they will hold the appliances. Are there library files for this?
Combining drawings –
Can I add my integrated appliance cabinet file to my shelving cabinet file to make one combined drawing, like in Tcabinet2?
Thanks
-Stuart
