I’ll provide the drinks if you pay for the flight over!
That said, if ever you have an opportunity to visit Canada’s National Capital (No… Not Toronto. Ottawa), it would be my pleasure to have you guys over for a bed -n- breakfast and a nightcap or two.
Sincerely,
Christopher

Hi Christopher,

Hi All!
Attached you will find more photos on my progress. You will now see the end-result colour of the bar…
The first is the photo of the Center Section base where I’ve taped out the areas I did not want lacquered for proper bonding of the glue. Of course, I quickly removed the tape before the two layers of lacquer had a chance to completely solidify. I will upload the “end result” photo tomorrow.
The second photo shows the same as the first photo, just from a different point of view.
The third photo is of the Wine Rack portion of the Center Bar section. For the Wine Rack, I used the same methods in taping out the locations I did not want lacquered for bonding purposes.
Enjoy!

Hi Christophe,
We are all impatient to see the damned thing built!
All the best,
Ness

Good day everyone!
I simply wanted to give you guys a heads-up that there are no photos this week as I have been very busy staining and lacquering… Personally, I didn’t think that that would interest you guys very much…
I am just about at the point where I can start putting together the “wine rack” portion of the Home Bar. First, I want to stain and lacquer the base.
Stay tuned…
Christopher
