Hi,Is everything in order now?
I’m happy to help you with Maestro, which remains very flexible.
in case you know where to make any of these multiple settings….
Cheers, Alex

Hello Alex.
Yes it’s all good and works
I have though one question related the the sawing function with maestro, which all boils down to the advanced data parameter in a milling/sawing in maestro called safety quota.
I have tried using the sawing function in the past, where the blade was tilted about 80 degrees. when the sawblade is finished cutting the angle and has to go to the next, it will rotate to desired angle position while slowly going up to the required z height all while ”walking across” the piece. this results in the blade cutting in the piece, all becuase the machine wont go up to the resting position befor going down the the next milling/sawing.
I dont know if this makes any sense, but what im getting at, is that the safety quota function tells the milling to start further away from the place.
so if the safety quota is 30mm, the cnc til go to 30 mm above the function the slowly go to the start posistion.
In my case where I use the blade for the chamfering of the risers, i need to change the safety quota of the sawing to the value 300 mm to trick the machine, or else it wrecks my piece. ( just to add, this is 100% a problem that comes from Maestro nothing related to SD).
Maestro has a parameter for this but saddly its for all millings/sawing functions. So i was wondering if it possible to have a safety quota parameter in the tool information somehow ?

Hi,The mechanical option can be set here!
To get these parameters, Start a new job from Maestro, then go to machine parameters to get these values,
(sorry, I only have a screenshot in French)
For working in the DC area, edit to DC because D is Full table D to A
Hope that’s helpful, Alex
Sorry ignore the last post, i had apparently changed the tool for the export which caused some issues apparently .

Hello Alex.
Fantastic! thank yo very much.
But annoyingly i’ve stumbled accros a issue now somehow. when i export my steps the riser groove wont appear oddly enough.
Last friday i worked with my steps and it all worked well. Now after i changed the parameters and export the groove wont come. I’ve tried to go back to the original settings that i had, nbut it still wont work. i tried exporting stringers to see if there was a issue there but theres no problem there. Could i send a backup of my programm ?

Hello.
I’ve tried multible times to setup the export for table placement and i never get it to work.
im trying to get the program to place the pieces in area DC.
As well as this Maestro has mechanical and blocking options whiche have a possibility to be defined by a number depending on what one wants to use.
in the picture attached its defined by 0 in that case, since i didnt change anything.
Is is there a function in export for this, or is it possible for it to be added to stairdesigner ?
