Hi John,

Step width for StairDesigner is from nosing to nosing, which is the same as riser to riser.

Stair length is the total length of the tread line that is all the goings (tread widths) added together.

hi i have some questions when you say step width is that the total step inc the nosing or the step going as face or riser to face of riser , also when you say stair length is that the stair going , thanks, jw.
