Brilliant, that’s really helpful thank you for the detailed video examples! This should resolve the issue for now.

Hi,

This solution is for new project and should required new cutting list export!

But also make sure that your edges are synchronised with the OC and the update of the previous project.

You can be sure that if they have arrived at the OC, they must be written in black in the list and ‘not in grey italics‘.

It is also possible to restore edges in OC and then set it to zero.

After it always better to control this quickly, and look if Polyboard and OptiCut using the same Materials folders,

this ensures that the panels and edges are properly synchronised

From PB and OC from menu Tools > Folders > Parameters > Line Materials

Hope that’s helpful, Alex

Hi Alex,

Thanks for this. Unfortunately this hasn’t seemed to work. I set the edge banding to 0mm, saved and exported and printed out the new opticut report. But the measurements are exactly the same.

I could be missing something here…

Regards,

Tom

Hi Tom,

The easiest solution is to set your edges from PolyBoard with thickness of 0mm,

This solution allow to display edges on labels and report,

that’s take few second to turn back , or doing pre milling on specific edges

Cheers, Alex

Hello,

Our edge bander now has pre milling. How do we change the settings in Polyboard and/or Opticut so that the cut list sizes are not reduced wherever there is edge banding?

If you have any visuals to explain this I would really appreciate that.

Many Thanks

Tom
