Hi Larry,
I’m happy to welcome you to Wood Designer.
Your project looks good. Just one point would be that the stair is very steep and doesn’t comply to the stair rule 2r+h>600<640, even though the step height is above the usual limit of 200mm. This creates steps that are very narrow at 149mm which will make the stair dangerous when descending.
I attach the working documents for your stair but my advice would be to see if you can add extra length to the first flight while maintaining sufficient head room.
I attach a possible stair layout, larry01v01.sds that would make a safer, although still not perfect, stair, but requires a precise head room calculation. For this model to work the upper floor thickness must be less than 200mm.
If space is really tight it’s sometimes better to opt for an “alternate step” style stair.

Hi Stefan,OK, I’m playing around with the software and seems to quite easy, so far.Its great really, I designed up this stairs from a template.its a stairs I’m doing for an old cottage of mine, been putting it offor a while.is it possible to get the plans for this, its a quarter turn, very limited on space.I have attached to this email so I hope you can see it.regardsLarry.PS.
