Stair file lite request|Forum|WOOD DESIGNER

Today – 1st October! Nice to be able to give you some good news. The reason I mentioned StairFile…you don’t have to give us the finished design, we can change it with you and help you. Either way, please find attached you 3D DXF file. Let us know how it goes regulation wise.
All the best, Stefan

Hi Kyle, you are limited to 1 3D DXF file per month. If you’re going to buy the StairFile anyway, I suggest you do it now. We can then check your design as early as possible with you, and also provide an interim 3D DXF file and other output if you need it. All the best, Stefan
Hi Stefan,
i really need to check head height clearance before I know if this design is even compliant with Australian bca requirements. I don’t want to commit to this design with a stair file until I can scale the head height under the lower stair run. If it is too close I will have to re design the house layout and seperate the stair wells to different locations. When do I qualify for a second dxf file?

Hi Kyle, sorry we don’t offer 3ds files. If you have the paid version of SketchUp you should be able to convert your 3D DXF file though. Alternatively, download a trial version AutoCAD or progeCAD or similar. That should allow the conversion. All the best, Stefan
Hi Stefan,
Thats a shame I did not think it could be that easy, am i able to get a 3ds file on the attached design also, the stairs are directly on top of each other and i only have a ceiling height of 2400mm and a 200mm floor joists. I need to model them on top of each other to determine the head height clearance under the triple stair winder section as the Australian building code requires a minimum of 2030mm (it will be very close).
I would like to make sure the designs will work together before buying the stair files and cut from templates.
Thank you,
Kyle

Hi Kyle, here is your 3D DXF export. We don’t offer a StairFile Lite service but you can order a standard StairFile including review and revision of your design here: https://wooddesigner.org/membe…..discounts/
We’ve got some guys in Australia but the other end, nothing close to you, sorry.
All the best, Stefan
Hi,
Could I please get a stair file lite and 3d DXF export for the attached design (the stringers will be recessed into the timber wall frame and so they will not be seen once the plasterboard is complete.
I know its a long shot but are there any suppliers in Sydney Australia that could produce a kit from your software?
Thank you
Kyle
