Hi David,

The saw tooth stringer is set up using the Parameters>Cut string Parameters dialogue box:

You have to tick the appropriate boxes to set up the cut strings and then untick the Stringboard Parameters so that you don’t get both types of strings on the same stair.

I’m not sure what you are trying to do when you say you want the stairs go straight into the wall and is not visiable.

Can you post a sketch or photo of what you want?
