Hi Jonas,
Your stair is a steep one, but I’ve tweaked a bit your design and it should work like this:
I attach the StairDesigner file so that you can play with it and add handrails, etc.
StairDesigner always draws the cut strings with curved edges and you’ll have to adjust the under edges when building the stair.

Hi,
first of all, I’m impressed with the StairDesigner SW, been looking for quite a while for something just like this so I’m looking forward to trying it out.
In the mean time I thought I’d just ask for some advice on possible stair designs when there is very little space to fit a stair.
I have attached a picture with measurements of the space where the stair is supposed to go. As you can see it’s going to be quite tight. I realize that it may not be able to build a stair according to code but this is just for my guest house so I’m going to get away with it. The goal is however still to build the safest stair possible.
Attached is also an initial design(no handles etc yet) of a stair that I think might fit.
All comments are welcome.
Btw, is it possible to change the design of the cut stringers, it seems that the lower edge always has a curve to it?
