Hi Per,

A stair pitch gets calculated on straight stairs automatically. On stairs with winding steps, a pitch often does not get calculated but the tread width and the riser height are the main indicators of the compliance of the stair. In your case, the stair is ok and to give you an estimate of the pitch you can use the tread width in combination with the riser and it will be around 39° on the treadline (centre of the stair flights) which is perfect.

Be aware you are not having a landing step here. The length of your last flight is until the nose of the last step. 1700mm +100mm for the last step = 1800 mm.

Many errors are made on this so please check to be sure.

regards

Michel

Hi, I need the drawings for this staircase. I only made the steps since I only need them. Does everything look ok? Is the stair rule ok? Something that needs to be changed? I need the measurements in metric (mm). I tried to find the angle of the stairs. But did not find it in the program. Is there any way to find out what it is? Do you know that?

Best regards
Per E.
