Hi Dean,
Here’s a few example files of Optinest output.
Note that we can set up layer names as required so you will be able to get auto tool pathing when loaded into AlphaCam.
All the best,
Ness

Hi Dean,
With Optinest you can nest onto any sheet size and/or shape. The program will even add the off cuts from one project to the available stock so that you can use them to cut parts from other projects .
With Polyboard you just export the parts and run them into Optinest. The parts are stocked in folders organised by materials and Polyboard creates a nesting pattern by material, so it’s all automatic.
Optinest then outputs a single DXf files per sheet with the layers set up for auto tooling.
The program also prints the labels, eventually with bar codes for each part, manages the edging and stock of sheets, etc.
Polyboard + Optinest creates a very efficient production system, that works well and fast.
Here’s a video showing how it all fits together:

Hi Guys
Just wondering if anyone could give me some advise on the features in optinest please………what im wondering is
* can you nest a job in various sheet sizes ?? i.e. I have a 10’x4′ bed but sheets come 9’x7’ish so have to split them
* can you nest a full job straight from a project in polyboard
* can it output a single dfx of nested sheets ??
* are all nested drawings layered ready for auto tooling ??
im sure i will have more just trying to get my head round a good working system
Thanks
Dean
