Otherwise, we advise that you regularly save your design and create backups at a remote location of all your design files.<\/p><h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Quick Design libraries and other settings<\/h3><p>It is also possible to save your settings, including your libraries and post processor configuration.<\/p><p><strong>More details:<\/strong><\/p><p><a href=\"https:\/\/wooddesigner.org\/help-centre\/save-and-restore-settings\/\">How do I save and restore my settings?<\/a><\/p><p>Your libraries can optionally be hosted on a cloud-based storage system, adding an extra level of security, and offering a simple way to share them across multiple computers.<\/p><h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Zone management and copying your internal layout<\/h2><p>To make the design process as fast as possible, the video below provides some extra tips on how to:<\/p><ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Select single and multiple zones<\/li>\n\n<li>Copy and paste design elements from one zone to the other (in a single cabinet and between cabinets)<\/li>\n\n<li>Delete everything within your zones<\/li><\/ul><figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-vimeo wp-block-embed-vimeo wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Basic zone management\" src=\"https:\/\/player.vimeo.com\/video\/425448643?dnt=1&amp;app_id=122963\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"autoplay; fullscreen; picture-in-picture; clipboard-write\"><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure><h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Materials<\/h2><h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Panel materials<\/h3><p>When you started your design, you would have selected a Manufacturing method for it, which includes material preferences. The machining for the hardware (Fitting)<\/h3><p>For example, the diameter and depth of the pilot holes for a drawer slider, or the tooling for a hinge.<\/p><h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">2. The location of the hardware (Rule)<\/h3><p>Where exactly to apply the machining\/tooling.<\/p><h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Add hardware to your cabinet<\/h3><p>As an example, let\u2019s apply a CAM and dowel assembly between the top and left side of a cabinet.<\/p><p>Select the top &gt; Properties menu &gt; Links &gt; Right side &gt; 1 Fitting link and select the 3 dot icon (\u2026)<\/p><figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><a href=\"https:\/\/wooddesigner.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/08\/50-add-hardware-v2.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"643\" height=\"277\" src=\"https:\/\/wooddesigner.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/08\/50-add-hardware-v2.png\" alt=\"add hardware in polyboard\" class=\"wp-image-22222\" srcset=\"https:\/\/wooddesigner.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/08\/50-add-hardware-v2.png 643w, https:\/\/wooddesigner.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/08\/50-add-hardware-v2-600x258.png 600w, https:\/\/wooddesigner.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/08\/50-add-hardware-v2-300x129.png 300w, https:\/\/wooddesigner.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/08\/50-add-hardware-v2-50x22.png 50w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 643px) 100vw, 643px\" \/><\/a><\/figure><p>This opens the Fitting links window.
