Can you send your Stair and output file for better analysis, like this I can compare with my output

Which output are you using?

For noising you have 2 setting from your stair and from PP

Yohaan Chandra on Is there a way to configure the default settings for treads and risers regarding dimensions? https://wooddesigner.org/forum/stairdesigner/is-there-a-way-to-configure-the-default-settings-for-treads-and-risers-regarding-dimensions/#p12764 StairDesigner https://wooddesigner.org/forum/stairdesigner/is-there-a-way-to-configure-the-default-settings-for-treads-and-risers-regarding-dimensions/#p12764 We build stairs differently in New Zealand compared to the UK and one of the main problems we run into is the wrong tread sizing. i will attach photos for reference.
our treads stop at the start of a riser ( refer to red line drawing in photo 1 ) and stair designer only gives us tread dimensions of the black line ( please refer to photo 1 ).

so each time we cut out or treads we have to manually calculate the real tread size as most of our stairs are carpet grade and we allow 25mm for nosing and have made mistakes in doing so which cost us alot of money and time.

i am looking for a solution for this, maybe there is a way to customise the method of stairmaking so we can remove the manual calculation out of the equation and follow a cutlist exactly.

i also have taken a look at each individual step to check the dimensions given and those also do not align with how we make the stairs.

Michel on Can someone explain or show how to only fit 2 winding steps on this staircase https://wooddesigner.org/forum/stairdesigner/can-someone-explain-or-show-how-to-only-fit-2-winding-steps-on-this-staircase/#p12700 StairDesigner https://wooddesigner.org/forum/stairdesigner/can-someone-explain-or-show-how-to-only-fit-2-winding-steps-on-this-staircase/#p12700 Hi Yohaan,

Instead of adding a second flight, you must add consecutive landings and a flight at the end. You can shape the landings to represent a 2 step winder. It requires a bit of manual work

Here is the stair example attached.

If you are unable to open the file, please upgrade your software to the latest version on our website.

Regards

Michel

The risers are 30mm thick. Why is the measurement tool so off? And why are there multiple planes?
